Drove it into my garage. With no brakes just using the ebrake. It was a foot dance but its in my garage now. Drove it around out in my lot, was shifting alright and felt like brakes were dragging. Ill start working on it in the morning. New tstat and figure out what on the brakes is broke

Was at it most of the night. Thermostat is fine and opens normaly. Heater in car works when it is supposed to, got the low coolant light to go out by adding coolant to the overflow. The radiator was always full. The gauge temp sensor is not working after testing it with an older ford one that fit. I ordered the correct one. Original owner said about throttle hesitation off idle when driving, i had it happen. Probably some sort of idle control valve sticking.

If it has the upsized maf then you need the chip usually to keep in range. I wonder what else is bolted on? You check the y-pipe?

I have like 2 exhaust systems for it also. Full stock that is laying next to car and an aftermarket one that was installed. 2 sets of stock downpipes. Original owner kept cracking his ypipe as he said when he lowered it the y pipe would always bottom out. Id have to see if the design on the catless one is better for a low sho. Other than the idle issue. You cant even hear the engine running. Gunna pull off the idle air control today and try to clean it, got the cold/gauge working just cleaned the connectors on where the guage gets the signal. The bolt with a bolt in it temp sender, they call it a switch but its not a switch

Sho runs good. Removing the whole intake to clean it real good. Didnt see any pitting from age. Just dirty. And it will help me get to some other things ill replace. Yea it runs good, time to take it apart lol. Way i am, rather replace a bunch of stuff it probly dont need while its apart. Vacuum hoses look old, ill order intake rubber and clamps but red on shosource and red vacuum hoses sometime this week.

SHO shop, CincySHO, Ford Performance Specialists, NESHO, SHOnut used to sell more stuff, Midwest SHO, SHObros, who was the place that used to sell y-pipes and had an install shop in the midwest?? I wish I had the old school websites still up.

After hearing the engine and watching it pretty much go further then the rpm gauge, im in love with it. Even how smooth it shifted around my lot, even with no brakes but once its fixed up alittle more i think my 15’ sho will be put away for a while. Big statement but i think i like the 90’ more then the 15’.

SHO Shop can work 80mm MAF. That car had some money spent on it. You might find all kinds of goodies if you keep looking.

I was told over 10k$ was spent in upgrades from a sho shop in new jersey long ago. With port job done and an overbore to 3.2l. Yet it may be a 3.2l engine but id have to find the engine codes maybe, or a engine difference to know for sure. When i get the intake off ill have pics to see if it was ported out. And i can get some id measurements.

Does the coil pack lay horizontal or is it mounted at an angle pointing down towards the radiator?
