No part yet!

I hooked up with "blown95atx" via PM, I was looking for a hard button EATC. He said he had one that was tested, asked for the cash plus shipping, and for a USPS money order.

I sent the MO via USPS on 10/5/07, from Portland, OR to Taylors Falls, Minnesota.

On Friday 10/19 I sent blown95atx a PM asking about this, said It's getting cold (my EATC or something else in the temp. control system doesn't seem to work right, and I want to install another tested, hard button EATC before digging deeper. No reply yet.

I know that people don't just sit around their computers checking to see if they are getting *** from SHOForum, but it does seem like a long time. I don't want to mention the guys name either, as something may have come up in his life.

Bottom line question: Is sending money for parts through SHOForum contacts, and then having the money disappear very common here?

It is not common, it just happens this guy fell through the cracks. He is a known scammer under a different username. You will probably eventually get your part like I did, but who knows how long. Check the thread about MinneSHO, thats who this guy is.
