Just curious if anyone else has this issue, my 2017 sho that has a 3 bar map sensor, colder plugs and tune will tend to disable the awd after one launch usually. Not sure if it’s characteristic or not. It was more noticeable after putting some stickier summer tires on I believe. Haven’t taken the time to monitor the awd clutch pids while driving to see exactly what is happening yet.

I have only experienced it on the track, it was after I switched to better tires as well, not sure the AWD system likes the hard launches but it seems to clear itself up after a key cycle so I didn't worry too much about it.

Thanks for the input, mine will come back after a key cycle as well. Wish it just wouldn’t do it at all but oh well haha

How worn are your tires? If the fronts and backs are too far off in size from wearing differently, then the awd is gonna get unhappy everytime its used.

Every hard pass in my car it does it. Turn it off, then back on, and I am golden.

Tires are about a month old, went with the Firestone Indy 500’s.

Good to know, basically thats how it is for my car. Just thought it was odd it turns itself off so fast. It just snowed where I live so I won’t be doing any testing for a while. When I can I will try and monitor and see what the car is unhappy about.
