AutoLoc Express Moonroof Module is driving me INSANE

Hey all,

After reading what DJ SHO had to say about the autoloc express up & down module, and adapting it for the moonroof over on superhighoutput, I decided to order one for myself. I got around to playing with it today, and it's driving me absolutely INSANE. I do not get how this hooks up! I tried getting it hooked up to the wires going to the switch itself, then tried doing it with the wires going to the motor from the relay. Nothing seems to work right, but the way I've done everything with snap connectors, I have it back to normal for now... I really hope I didn't waste $40 on this thing, I'm intent on getting it to work :/

I have been searching both forums and reading what information I could find on the matter, but I never found a comprehensive tutorial on how to get this autoloc thing installed...

Dude, you only need to tap into the two wires that come off the switch to the motor. There's like 6 wires on the AUTOLOC module. Battery Power, ground, negative trigger, positive trigger, and then your two 12V switching outputs that invert depending on the direction you want to drive the motor. The triggers aren't necessary. But you have to make sure the module has it's 12V constant voltage supply from somewhere or it won't work. You just hook up the two other leads to the two leads off of the switch. Simple.

I got this resolved months ago, I had a defective unit. New one hooked right up
