rick- these are real leathers, check out www.katzkin.com
Okay... so how does www.katzkin.com and

'Autobahn
220 So. Main Street
West Bridgewater MA. 02379'

go together?? shrug
Katzkin manufactures the leather kits and Autobahn is an installer. Katzkin doesn't do installations, they just make the leather.

eric, its more than $500, its like $999 for SHO's, eric installed it, it takes about 6-7 hours to install, if you want just the kit its like $600, so eric if you meant $500 for the kit $300-400 for labor, you were sorta kinda right..btw we gotta get down the cape next week..

I have a Katzkin interior in my Grand Prix that I've been very happy with. I hope to do something with the SHO's interior in the near future as well as the factory leather is getting rather tired.

Here is a couple pics from the Grand Prix...

I see you got the Gathered look, looks good to me
I actually made a bid on the kit during the national GP convention (Grand Prix Gathering) a few years back. Actually, had I ordered it from scratch I don't know if I would have picked the gathered look. I'll probably request a sample chart from them soon to choose for the SHO. I must say that I've been very impressed the way the leather wears. You want to talk about poor automotive leather? I think Pontiac's pleather takes the gold home. I was very happy to dispose of the factory seating surfaces as it cracks incredibly fast, and comfort in my opinion was just poor. The material in the SHO is a bit nicer, but I'd have to say they're in poor condition and in need of replacement.

I actually have a question for you Autobahn. Did you have any experience with the Relaxor kits they show on the website? At the time I had my kit installed, Katzkin would not sell directly, only to dealers. I'm still thinking about having them added to both cars, and wondering if you might have a cheaper means of purchasing these than the $250 per unit I was recently quoted at by www.autoleather.com
