ATX Tranny Question..

Ok, so I haven't been driving my SHO for a while because it wont shift out of 1st when in gear or when I manually shift it to 2nd and 3rd. but it does go into Reverse. Any ideas?

Any ideas?

PS. Last time the tranny shifted normal was before replacing the radiator. Not sure if this issue was caused by the part replacement or not but there are cooler lines that hook up to it for cooling the tranny.

Tranny needs to be rebuilt.

It's possible that the piston/servo is cracked.

The only thing I could gather with it having anything to do with a radiator change is if inside of the radiator the lines that the tranny fluid runs through some how is leaking and mixing with coolant and flowing through your trans. That would be almost unbelievable on your car, even though a lot of newer nissan pathfinders have had those problems so it's not completely unbelievable. You would see tranny fluid in coolant and vise versa if that were your problem, which it probably is not, but that would be the only correlation between the two.
