I have a few questions about this transmission. I've noticed it shifts quickly and rather firm at 1/4 throttle. Other times when im easy on it so about 85% of the time, it'll shift smoother. 1. Is that just the normal characteristics of the 6F55?
2. I've felt it takes a bit longer to shift when after slowing down almost to a stop and I give it throttle it feels delayed? I also feel it downshift when decelerating, im sure it's normal.
It's been a great car and the transmission is in excellent condition and no issues whatsoever. Just turned 119k on my 2015 SHO.

You're probably due for a fluid exchange. It shouldn't shift with any jerking just a characteristic that it is probably over due for service. Also check for some worn bushings but that's probably not really it. Preventative maintenance is key in these cars!

That will be the next thing I'll be doing along with an oil change too! Like i said it shifts great i think it just might benefit from a fluid change. Thanks for the insight!

A drain and fill on occasion definitely helps.

Buy a case of trans fluid. Do a 5 out and 5 in. Drive a couple hundred mile, and do it again.
