Can't figure out how to remove the single wire lead from this oil pressure sender.

Do I need to pull this right angle boot and remove a nut?

Or is the right angle boot the actual part of the lead and just spin it off?
If so, do I have unclip one of the connections there?

I have an ATX so I have to it all from the top. I bought the sender socket to make my life easier yet since I have to remove the lead first this is becoming increasingly painful.

Thanks All

The "L" shaped end on the wire IS the end of the wire, it's press-fit on there, wiggling back & forth will help, but be careful not to break the "L" off. Essentially, it just pulls straight off.

Pic shows the stock sender, I know I had to install a extension for that setup but its almost the same, just pull the "L" off the post on the sender.

Thanks for the help.

I finally got it pulled off and completed the replacement. Looks like no more oil leaks!

Also,

Any idea what all the connecters are for right at that sender? I was tugging on them pretty good and I just had a totally unrelated yet bizarre no start
condition. Solved that issue (a bad ground from previous work today) yet am curious on what I could have messed up.

Thanks Again All.
