atx fuel pump prob again

in the last 4 days i have gone through 3 fuel pumps. they last about half a day, then they just quit. any ideas guys?

Sounds to me like bad wiring is shorting them out. I don't know if too much power or not enough would do this to you..

Also, you're supposed to put a new strainer (filter type thingey) in when you install a new one. Dirt or other debris will get inside and **** the motor. Maybe the fuel tank is full of crud??

Clean and flush the fuel tank if there is debris in it. Failure to do so can **** a new pump if enough crap is in there.

BTW, are you certain that it is the fuel pump that is defective?

ok not sure what is going on maybe you can help. 2:00 this morning pump was not priming. i try it at 11:25 and the pump primed andit started. weird stuff huh shrug
