I can't get it figured out and I've had the help of a couple of SHO guys back at home. Same story, I'll still stall if I touch the gas aggressively right off of idle. Have a new fuel filter, air filter, plugs and wires with new plug well seals. Fuel pressure was ok. Swapped out TPS and MAF, put in new IAC and had the 60K done this past Saturday (however we didn't touch the timing belt) I'm running out of ideas? Only codes I get in the Key On Engine Off are 24 for "Air charge temperature (ACT) sensor out of self-test range." Could that be it? Would that really **** the engine after idle?

Try cleaning the end of the act with carb cleaner before you decide to replace. Any key on engine running codes?

The computer uses the air temp sensor, among other things, to measure the amount of air entering the engine so it can adjust fuel to match. If the sensor isn't right, the mixture could certainly lean out and result in a stall. Autozone lists this part for around $15, so if the cleaning doesn't help, just replace it.

Here's a page with a table of sensors and what can go wrong when they fail:

Cleaning the air charge temperature sensor won't change the outcome of the EEC test since the test measures the resistance of the sensor. Whether it is clean or dirty will not change that. It needs to be replaced.

Ok I was talking to Chris(HunterVF) and we thought of seeing maybe the Fuel Pressure Regulator has something to do with the stalling. Now if I remember correctly when I took pressure readings with the line to the FPR still in I had a wide range of readings and it got down to 19psi I think when I started the throttle. Could that be a possibility? Should fuel pressure change with rpms? Because I was told to check pressure without the line to the FPR in and when I did I got a nice steady 40psi squint
