Those rubberized roads are sweet... Smooth and quiet. Something this place could benefit from. I though Denver had bad roads (it does), but the roads here are all concrete. They last longer, but the ride sucks for most of its life.

Those concrete roads also hold up well to the snow and ice, which is something we don't worry about much here in the valley of the intense blistering furnace-like sun. ;)

And, yeah, the rubberized pavement is pretty cool.

yes they stop,if they don't(and it happens)thats usually a sign they're shot. i have a couple koni knobs kicking around somewere. or you can go to www.contour.org and look for someone named blufuz,he's selling some machined aluminum ones he had made.

I can turn them with pliers they are all the way in right now, I'm gonna guess that's which way makes them soft? Does anyone know if loosen means it will be stiffer? Maybe they are still on soft for break in? If all the way tightened in is supposed to be stiff I got a problem haha it feels pretty soft right now..

Thats weird, I heard the opposite. They use sand instead of salt out there correct?

In Denver? Yes, the use sand as well as a chemical... Salt isn't a big factor in tearing up roads anyway.

Jesus, you think your roads are bad.... I challenge yo to drive anywhere within a 50 mile radius of downtown Chicago and not complain, the roads are better everywhere else I drive BUT this area...

oldest revival in a while...and anyone who really wants to test the ride quality of their car, i humbly invite you to make a journey down your choice of Michigan roads when the temp's below freezing. there are roads around here that'll make your ipod skip.

RI is pretty nasty too. My friend had Tein's on his maxima they were awful. Made the car sound like it was about to fall apart over every bump even with his illuminas on the softest setting. I have the intrax/tokiko setup on my car and i like it. Its stiff but not even close to unbearable. In fact my element rides firmer with eibachs and stock honda struts.
