Uhh, I did it... prob gonna get labeled a ricer now. My only suggestion is to get some really good ones. My set was not very bright, and blinked not very fast. Actually this past weekend, I added some 50W fog light bulbs in there. I removed the strobes... So, basically, my recommendation is to get some GOOD ones. I dont reccomend the $15 pair at advance auto...

While im at it, im gonna post what my "fish-fogs" look like:

You are showing here that you put fog lgihts in but in the WTB section you said you melted the fishtanks putting in the bulbs. So whats up? I was thinking of doing this since I have 2 extra sets. If you did do how did you make the bulb level?

Yeah, well, see the thing is... I got them in and all, which I was SOO proud of, so i drove around for an afternoon with them on, ya know, showing off my "daytime running lights", and when I got out to look at them, I guess the bulbs got so hot, that it melted a little white dot in each of the fishtanks, so... my design isnt without flaws, but its still TIGHT IMO... my strobes never had any adverse effect on the tanks... and they made me look even more "copish", muhahaha, had some fun with those... (dont try this without adult supervision(so you have someone to blame it on)) :D
Update: Dont forget to add a bit of tape/paint/something opaque to the side of your fishtanks, if you do not, then you will get the light from the tanks in your main headlight, and it waters down the look.

I wonder why ford didn't just put a yellow bulb in there, just to act as a second turn signal? It would just make sense to me shrug

cause they didnt want to add expense...

they used the sable lighting system almost down to the bone in the front (without the light bar) I guess they probobly just threw this peice together so that they would have something to mate the peices together with. Yeah, it makes sence to stick an amber bulb in there, but ford is sorta cheap.... and thats my opinion on the subject.

I was thinking about putting strobes in my fishtanks, and some in the same area as the 'courtesy' lights on the sides. Only thing stopping me, is I dont hang out in parking lots and try to look cool with people, and my luck, I would get in trouble with them.

OH YEAH, just remembered something from my strobe-fishtank install... when drilling into the lights, it is VERY easy to accidently go too far and hit the clear plastic. Just be careful there... not a real loss if it does hit, it leaves a small mark...

I did it to my 94, just buy the street glow ones from any aftermarket shop.

There are instructions on SHOtimes.com i believe that tell you about putting lights in there. Combine those instructions with the ones that come in the package from street glow and you're good to go.

The Street glow ones are low voltage and low amps so you won't have to worry about melting.

Don't get yourself in trouble. I had wigswags and the strobes going at a SHOw once and got shit for it from an off duty cop.

Did you point out to the cop that he was off duty, and you weren't driving on the street with them on?

Im looking into getting some wig-wags, they seem cheap enough, and cool enough... and pretty easy on the install. My thing is that I know I will use them poorly, hahaha... aka pulling someone over. But, who knows, i got so many ideas running through my head that I will probobly forget...

yea if you wanna run relays from the rear to the front of your car, easier just to run 2 different sets and deal with the left right action..

Not sure how the X pattern would be wired, but it would cause ALOT of wiring to be done
