Antenna Motor

My radio antenna works fine, but does not go up and down.. up is fine
with me..

However, whenever I start the car or shut it off, the motor to the antenna grinds and grinds for about 10 seconds.. is there some wire or fuse I can pull that shuts off that motor.. something quick? thanks

I don't know what year your car is but on my SHO the fuse that controls the power antenna also powers the amp and the radio too so pulling the fuse wont work. If you don't want to fix the antenna (which is not that hard) just unplug it in the up position. You will probably have to access the plug from the inner wheel skirt.
