Bluestreak,
The car is fixed, for now anyway. I havent driven it yet, but it seems to run fine. I posted what the problem was in the electrical forum. I figured I might as well put it in the correct forum since it was an electrical problem.
Anyway, the harness was rubbed through and it had chafed two wires, and wore one in half. I pulled the whole engine bay harness and went through it to make sure it was good to go. I double wrapped the long area of the harness with fiberglass heat wrap, and banded it with some stainless bands. There's no way its gonna rub through again. I also tied it up so it wasnt laying on any sharp edges.
The chafed wires were causing alot of other problems that are now fixed also. The car wouldnt idle for crap due to the injector wires being part of the shorted circuit. I also fixed the fuel leak, just had some bad O-rings. Thank god the guy on here had posted about the injector seal kit for the 2000 toyota camry being the same. The grommets and O-rings were trashed, and the camry O-ring/grommet kits worked perfectly.
Im not sure if the area where my harness rubbed through is a problem area on all SHO's, but atleast it will give someone else an idea if they have a similar problem.
Thanks for the help "BUM"
I posted some pics in the thread on the other forum, just incase your curious.
