Counting down the time until Heather posts the inevitable flame attack in response to this...
On another note ...... You guys (n' gals) have to relize this. PERFORMANCE PARTS HAVE NO WARRANTY. This is sad but true. Unless you have a company making products in mass quanity. When you talk about aftermarket products for the SHO, stop and think how many engines some people have gone through after supercharging them. Metal is a wear-able part. Kinda like brakes. Now i'm not flaming here but come on people ............. These cars are not Mustangs or Camaros. Its not like you can go to your closest speed shop and start ordering performance parts.
What are you guys gonna do if everyone backs away from the SHO from producing aftermarket parts ??? rant
As usual, you misinterpreted (intentionally or otherwise) my post, and now I'm pissy. I meant nothing against you personally, in fact I even said what I'd be saying, which is likely worse than what you'd be saying. When I talk about YOU I usually throw a disclaimer about how I PERSONALLY think that YOU are a nice guy, etc., that it's your PRODUCT that's the issue. Separate the two Shawn, everyone else in the world is usually able to make the distinction.1fastsho:
I have broken an input shaft in this car and it broke before the diff did. Fred I am getting pretty tired of your SH@t.
yea, damn Mike wouldn't shut up about how you can barely push down the car with the suspension being so tight.shotimev6:
shawn if you do come back here and read this, i am very happy with the car and have no complaints other that the trans. yes, there was a cocoon of stuff covering up some very shiny paint. no complaints. the suspension is completely badass. no complaints there. i just want everyone to know im very happy with the rest of the car. the trans...well, that will soon be remedied
Hey Hey Hey....that hurts ya know frownYamaha V6
Hey, one last thought...
YOU DON'T OWN A SHO, YOU'RE NOT SELLING SHO PRODUCTS ANYMORE (YET AGAIN), WHAT ARE YOU EVEN DOING HERE? [/QB]
This is exactly my thought. Shawn, best wishes.RCADDELL:
Chiming in in Freds defense:
EVERYTIME someone brings up IPT, he is the first to say that personalyl, Shawn is a GREAT guy. He makes it fully known that he has no problems with Shawn, only with IPT products that are not suitable for the application they are intended for. That is the fine line you have to see whn you own a business....the person and the product are two different entities.
well now, wasnt that mature squintSHOFASTPERFORMANCE:
Shawn you dont want to start this sh@t with me. You know its really funny that your diff guys tried to get one from my guys and tried to copy it. Dont start shit with me about my products. If mine can stand up in Carters supercharged Gen 3 they can def hold up in a stock application. Maybe if you want to try and build some knock off version and then you guys still mess it up its pretty sad.
You and me both, Kenny. More reason to get out of the game, I'm afraid squintNotSoSlowSHO:

[QB] Kenny, there's a lot that happens behind the scenes that folks don't know about, and it's probably best it stays that way.QB]
