2014 SHO LMS Stage 1 V10
You can all thank Greg Baxter for this one at least for the idea. It is with a heavy heart I must advise that I joined Mr. Greg "ZP" (Zero Percent) Baxter in the Explorer Community. To be honest I didn't think that 1 I would get a decent trade and 2. Didn't think I would get the 0 percent. Ford Motor credit and the local dealer apparently called my bluff on both counts. I am off to the great beyond in a 2018 Explorer Sport Blue/Black 401A, Moonroof and 2nd row buckets. with center console. Pretty much same as BAXMAN's except color and I got the 2nd row buckets/console. I have had fun on this forum and learned a lot of tricks both good and bad.
I sincerely respect the assistance that I have received and hope that I was able to pass on some knowledge to other members both junior and senior. Those of you for Carlisle, yes I still plan on being there in 2019 but with Explorer group. Please vote for me!!!
For those of you in the DFW Metroplex area looking for a low mileage good condition 2014 SHO it should be available in a few days after titling, payoff and used vehicle acceptance check. I fully expect that it should and would qualify for CPO status. Be available at Auto Nation Ford 6850 SH 121 Frisco, TX some vehicle highlights.
2014 Taurus SHO Ingot Silver/Charcoal 42.5K miles SONY sound system, NAV, B/U camera, standard luxury car items, power front seats, heated AND A/C front seats heated rear outboard, moonroof, digital dash, SYNC with My Ford Touch. 3.5 E/B V6. OEM tires and rims approximately 10-12K miles. I cant speak for future but when I traded in it had the OEM Moonroof and hood deflector along with Weather tech vent visors. Texas legal window tint including the ("EyeBrow") section above the windshield to cut down on direct overhead glare. Upgraded Kenwood speakers including rear deck Subwoofers.
I am letting the dealer and vehicle sell itself but give it a few days and check it out. Purchased as a dealer demo in Jul 2015 in Ohio with 6000 miles.
Recent Texas state safety and emissions inspection...by recent I mean literally inspection passed Wednesday traded on Saturday.
I will of course lurk out here occasionally and may come across a good tip or just a simple trip down memory lane.
