Reaching out in hopes someone has some direction here...

Yesterday I had the oil changed @ the dealership. When I got in it to go home, the entertainment part of the MFT quit working - No output, & frozen on what I had listened to last. All other features of the MFT worked just fine. After playing with it for a bit the screen went black & it did the "performing scheduled maintenance" thing. Once the screen came back on all was well. Entertainment section worked good again!

Fast forward to last night when I get in the car to go home after a football game. The ambient lighting had set itself back to the light bluish color (I like it on red). I'm used to this happening occasionally so no big deal - BUT when I went into the options to change it back, I can't find the setting to do so! It seems to be gone! Tried turning off the car, restarting, etc... No luck!

I attached a pic for reference... Has anyone seen this happen before? I'm kind of at a loss here!

Im sorry for your troubles man, just glad to read that im not the onlyone that the light resets back to blue randomly.

As for your other problem have you tried doing a master reset from the system menu?

I'm going to try that today & see if it fixes it. I saw that option in there yesterday but didn't do it because I didn't know how much I'd have to redo afterwards...

Man i cant remeber what all it ereases but its not that bad.

This is a shot in the dark but i wonder if the fuse that goes to the lighting has gone out? And i wonder if the system stops showing it as an option becuase it doesnt see the lighting present?

Hopefully it's not that bad!

I hadn't thought about a fuse issue... But the ambient light is on in the car, in the light blue! Hahaha! I'll check for a fuse too!

Do a master reset while the vehicle is running. After that is complete if the setting still are not there then shut the vehicle off and disconnect the battery for about a minute and reconnect it.

Hopefully that fixes it and if not then you either have a bad APIM or the programming got corrupted.

As far as the comment about the LEDs resetting to blue for unknown reasons, there is a TSB fix for that.

Master reset fixed it.

Had to wait and do it when I had time to redo all my settings.

Thanks for the help all!
