I am not sure what to make of this, tried looking at other threads, but the only thing I can assume is that on of my air bags isn't working right.
Just today my air bag light started blinking. It would flash twice, pause, then flash once more, pause. Then it would start again.
If someone could help in the translation or what this may mean, that'd be awesome!

21 = Safing Sensor Not Mounted to Vehicle Properly

Also, just in case:

12 = Low Battery Voltage

You really want to hope it's 21, because a 12 code usually results in replacement of the ABS unit.

Anyway, one of the two (three?) crash sensors either crapped the bucket, activated, or is doing something weird. There's one mounted to the rear firewall (it's a cube looking thing), and one mounted on the front radiator support right next to the CCRM/IRCM. If you removed or moved either one of these, you will get a 21. I would start by making sure you're getting 12v at both of these sensors.

Edit: It just occured to me that the safing sensor is not the same thing as the crash sensors... um... I got this from the manual:

LH Kick Panel Safing Rear Air Bag Sensor and Bracket Sensor--LH cowl panel behind trim panel

so look there and see if you can see anything amiss.

the Air Bag light will blink for an ABS problem? Just checking that this is correct.
I just went on another quick trip and the Air Bag light was not blinking, but it blinked the two previous times that I had started it.
I will leave it for now, but if it happens again, I will know where to look.
Also, not sure if this plays a role, occasionally when I romp on the gas up to about 5000rpm+, my cigarette lighter power will cut out for a moment, and my radar detector will reset. Not always, but its happened 2 or 3 times. It did it once today on some "spirited" highway driving on the NJ Turnpike. :thumb:
