Lol roll racing. :snicker:

LOL at racing in a straight line...

There's something to be said about pure power. And I'm positive you've got some roll racing videos up on YouTube right now...

It is ok, I mean I don't blame you or anyone else for buying a car with more potential. It is the easy way out. I like doing what I am doing with the car.

Easy? No. Cost effective? Yes. Nicer, built better AND a better platform? **** yes.

You forget, I've done the SHO thing... You were probably weren't even a teenager when I bought the car. I understand the wanting to go faster part... Got it. But stay focused.

The reason why I have not started deleting things out of my car is because it's too nice. I focused on keeping the car nice, and making it a fun road car. With that said, if it worked in factory form, I did not touch it. It works, it does what it's supposed to. Remember you're working on a track car, you want it to function. The brake booster functions as-is without modification.

SHOs have way more potential than, say, a Renault Dauphine. You're always taking the easy way out compared to somebody else.

Yeah... ******* get out of your car and foot race!

Zach do you even have a fuel cell in the car? Its one way to save weight.

Im trying to tuck and hide things in the engine bay, but the Booster and Cylinder are 1 thing I would leave alone. Not worth trying to rig something that is used to bring you to a stop. If something fails you could end up in the hospital.

that helped me with my project.

Got rid of whole ABS stuff, by the only thing I did, was putting proportioning valve under the hood and took me some time and tires to adjust that. I liked the result and I don't even know if I need huge brakes now, since the car stops on a dime.

Don't waste all that money, it is cheaper than you think and not any less effective.

I don't see a booster. Are you now going to drop the cash on the proper pedal assemblies, master cylinders, proportioning valves, and build something to mount them on?

I'd gladly run you from a 70mph roll (first one to 185?), but when it comes to the drag strip... I will pull up to the line with my A/C on and the radio blaring, run mid/low 11 without the fear of breaking anything, and then drive it to go get dinner.

You have no fear of stripping 3rd gear at 500 WHP? I fear breaking mine at 346 WHP.
