99 Shuttering and Missing

My 99 have been giving me a lot of shuttering lately. It's also been missing under medium acceleration especially going uphill. The car hasn't given me a check engine light either. What are the odds that it is my coil packs or simply the spark plugs? Or could it be somthing else?

If it is the coil packs how much do you think i can get them for at the local parts store?

Its a coil pack, no doubt. You can try to force the code or go to ford and have a cylinder balance test done. A coil pack at autozone is around 72 bucks. Plus the labor of doing it, if it is a rear, and you are not familiar with the engine, it will be a pain for you to get to.

i did a rear coil pack the other week at school and it looks scarier then it auctally is, i had the intake runners and everying off, coil pack changed, and everything out back together in under an hour
