Thanks for the help guys, Im going to try and collect some data over the weekend from the tps and whatever else looks helpful and check the tranny fluid tomorrow and I have the shutter stop on the way (I only go to the parts house when im desperate or feel like picking a fight and the guy at my O'Reilly's will probably tell me "uneven tire wear is a sign of a failing overdrive unit which would cause a shudder so that wont fix it")

She's due for her trans/ptu/diff fluid in 10k, If i put this shutter stop in am I good to wait that long or should i just do the trans early?
Check your map sensors. Both pre and post throttle body. If there's an intermittent fault the air fuel mixture will get messed up. It might be wiring/connectors or possibly one of the map sensors going intermittent.

second the lubegard shudder fixx over the lucas product.

definitely clean n grease your iat and both map sensors. maf sensor cleaner or electrical parts cleaner.

you could have bad fuel of course, but injectors are a known problem with ecoboosts. if you retune your vehicle frequently, you can brick the pcm. clean n grease the pcm connectors also.

Naturally my weekend didnt go as planned, plumbing repairs, water coming out roof vent, flooded laundry room, etc. etc. I have the shutter fix at the ready but have not pulled any data or even checked the trans fluid. The car behaved driving to multiple lowes stores with a slight sign its still there at cruising speed (if I hadnt been having issues I probably wouldnt even notice). I know forscan will pull non CEL codes, but if i cleared the codes to clear the light for the other 2 would it still be stored? I didnt realize there was more data to be found within the code, knowing what cylinder is causing the startup misfire would maybe point me in the right direction so thank you for that @SHOdded , Ill at least get some data on the drive home today

If you clear codes, it will clear all codes and data for them. The only exception is the type of scanner and the modules you were scanning. If it was reading OBDII and that is what was cleared, sometimes it will still be there in other areas. The same if you cleared the PCM, and it was a TCM issue.

I figured this was the case, and in most situations I record the codes and then clear them, had I known that the codes have more detailed information I wouldn't have cleared them or at least gathered that as well before clearing. First capable scan tool I've ever owned, most I've had just read codes and have little to no additional info.

Im using forscan with the bluetooth adapter for mobile, I have the windows version with the usb adapter as well but for general use I just use the mobile app. still learning all the functions
Try Car Scanner. I like some of the stuff on that better than ForScan (I use both). Did you get the OBDLink MX+? If so, get there app OBDLink and go to settings and get the "Enhanced OEM" option.

I've searched and only found a shutter under acceleration, I have a shutter at cruising and a few other intermittent issues. Here's the list:
•Shutter with light pressure on throttle around 60 mph/1600rpm
•Off throttle to WOT complete loss of power/ dead pedal
•Random (unrepeatable) CEL every couple weeks or when its raining for "misfire detected on Startup P0316"
•Occasional (somewhat repeatable) CEL under hard acceleration for "O2 Sensor Circuit Low Voltage Bank 1 Sensor 1 P0131" and "O2 Sensor Circuit Low Voltage Bank 2 Sensor 1 P0151"
(This is just my drivability list, I have some suspension issues to check out and the brakes are acting up again, but that's a story for another day, I'm just losing patience.)

The shutter is by far the biggest concern, the CEL codes go away after a run cycle but when the shutter starts it feels like a wheel is about to fall off, its violent and shakes the wheel and i can hear the CV axles crying from the extremely rapid load and unload. is it torque converter flutter? is it an air leak? is it bag coil/plugs? it comes and goes and the last time it happened it popped a flashing CEL with misfire on 2, i inspected the plugs (3k on them at the time, 10k now) and they still looked new, barely any brazing, I switched the coil to 5 to see if the problem followed and it stopped completely. now its back to its old tricks but no CEL at the time of the shutter.

The WOT issue is random and usually unrepeatable but that is covered elsewhere and I'm suspecting the TPS for that one, the reason I listed some less severe and common issues is so the big brains around here can see the whole picture and maybe its all related? who wants another list? here's one of everything I've done to the car and what ford did right before i bought it

•Oil change and tire rotate and balance 4500 miles ago
•K/N drop in filter
•Catch Can
•Plugs 10k miles ago (Ford)
•Diff, Trans, and PTU fluid 15K miles ago (Ford)
•Water pump 15k miles ago (Ford)
I have inspected all 4 corner wheel bearings, control arms, and axle shafts, all within range with the exception of a little extra play in Passenger Rear axle shaft, I have checked all clamps for Vacuum and intake tubes. I broke the mount for the noise maker the day i bought it because I had no idea what it was or how it was attached but its still installed. The car a 2013 non PP and is stock with all OEM electronics and no tune. I have to wait 2 weeks before I can get the car to a lift but I have forscan and I can look topside this weekend. any direction helps, I want to rule out transmission/ torque converter but if that's the consensus I suppose Ill start a piggy bank, I have a long trip this summer and need the car to be ready.
I had a similar issue. I found the spark plug gap was to wide I think I went .028. You can verify from Ford. I also found my front cat had a bad exhaust leak. Fixed both and eliminated all problems. Hopes this helps.

So after a 30 mile trip the only things in the log were o2 sensors not triggering a light in the pcm and obd, I watched tps readings and torque converter pressures with no signs of issues. I was able to get a slight reproduction of the issue but nothing triggered and nothing looked out of the ordinary. So next is to check the trans fluid.

Did you happen to figure out what is going on ?
I'm having the exact same issues you have..
I've been trying to get it figured out for over a year now . and I've even had it checked out by several different mechanics and dealerships..
Thanks

Data wise there's nothing other than the o2 sensor (always a possibility), I have been swamped with home projects and working on my wife's work vehicle and then this weekend I was rained out. a few things on the horizon I am going to try are: checking the trans fluid, adding shutter stop, deleting the noisemaker, and as soon as I have some extra cash I'm going to buy a motorcraft throttle position sensor and swap it as a just in case. both throttle PIDs on forscan did not show any signs of it being the cause of the shutter but I haven't been able to catch it when the pedal goes dead. I'm leaning toward torque converter since that seems to be a real common issue with these cars and maybe I just caught it super early to where the symptoms aren't as noticeable. Ill post an update as soon as I do the few things I already listed.

If your having transmission/Torque converter issues, I've heard good things about **** GUARD SHUDDER FIX. Let me know if you try it.

amzoil or motorcraft - when I did mine since I hadnt installed any drain plugs I had them use motorcraft - and to be honest its about hygiene and sticking to regular changes more than the brand.

I use Royal Purple for my PTU / RDU. 2012 Non-PP and just a few states north of you.

my experience has been best with amsoil severe gear, redline lightweight shockproof, bg, and valvoline OTS full synthetic, in descending order. long run, i'd probably stick with redline since it can be used in both ptu and rdu and performs quite well. one sku to stock.

update, did my standard service this weekend, oil change, air filter cleaning, tires, etc. and I inspected the transmission fluid. fluid looked fine, level was good, opted to not add the shutter stop just yet since the issue has faded away....again. strangely enough, after i scraped the bugs and dirt out of my air filter (10k since last cleaning) she seems to be running smoother, more responsive. I cant imagine a somewhat soiled air filter would cause noticeable bugs with throttle response especially since these are MAP cars. either way, tried to plug off the noise maker, the plug i bought was the exact size of the hole so it wont fit, back to the drawing board on that one but from what I can tell im not leaking any boost. under full load i am consistently at 27psi by the forscan PID (12ish psi from idle) since there is no actual boost gauge to read. at this point im just going to drive it until I do my driveline fluids, planning on an in depth inspection of everything at that point. I have the shutter stop at the ready if the problem comes back, my goal is to actually have the problem consistently enough to try 1 thing at a time to isolate the potential issue.
