What do you guys think of 99 SHO wheels on a 93 SHO? Personally, I like the 99 SHO wheels (even though I've seen them on SLO's). Also, brake dust comes off of chrome better than the white slicers. Does anyone know why the white slicers "soak" in the brake dust? It seems to smear all over the place rather than wipeing right off. Thanks

I was gonna do it on my 89 but decided to go with aftermarket 17" wheels
I think it would look cool especially in chrome.

Coilovers from IPT (when they come in)

CTOESHO, I have a set of '97 SHO Chrome wheels with Dunlop Sport SP5000 225-55-zr16 mounted. The wheels are in excellent condition, and the tires have at least 6 or 7/32nds tread left. The price is $600 picked up in Columbus, Ohio. Center caps & lug nuts included. Let me know ASAP if you're interested!
Thanks!
Jeff

Yeah, I thought about GEN III wheels 96-98. But those 99's really catch my eye. If you had some 99's I might consider it. Thanks though.

Not sure how they would look on a GenII but take a look see at Kurts GenI. I think it looks awesome with the GenIII wheels.

Some of the 99 wheels are just regular SLO Taurus SE wheels.

The '99 wheels are VERY different than the '96-'98 wheels. The wheels on the black '91 above are the '96-'98 wheels. The '99 wheels are not as shiny, may not even be chrome. Also, the '99 wheels do not have the rounded edges in the wheels, they are more pointed. They both look good, but ,persoanlly,I like the '97's better

I am contemplating taking the chrome wheels off of my '97 and putting them on my Mocha '91.

All the Gen III rims are 16 x6.5". I also like the '96-98 Gen II rims better, but the '99 Gen II rims are VERY light at 16.5 lbs.
