ok, so i replaced the valve cover gaskets/plug well seals, timing belt, all associated gaskets on the side, water pump, plugs/wires, all intake gaskets, had the intake opened up and got some BBB's. I orininally did all this as the 60K was due since my car has 63.5k on the ODO.. (I know.... bad that i went over)... I was getting oil in the plug wells and it would affect how the vehicle drove until it warmed up....
Now that I have it back together, it idles and revvs up GREAT. I drove it around and it ran amazing, until it warmed up... When its warm, when you accelerate forward, it feels like the car shuts off for a split second, when it does the the CEL comes on and when it recovers the CEL goes right back off like it does when the car is in the on position and not running. I only does it accelerating forward and when you've got the parking brake on an revving up and letting up on the clutch (i guess the equiv of an auto power brake). It won't do it in reverse and it wont do it in neutral or with the clutch pushed down. Oh, and it didn't do it before the repairs were done.
It initially blew the 30 amp fuse for the ignition switch/blower motor/pcm power.... but it hasn't done that again. (for now at least)
I want to say it's something wiring related where the engine rocks in just a way that a wire is touching somewhere?
Anybody else experience this?
Any thoughts or suggestions?
I've checked the wiring under the fuse block, at the connector to the ccrm, to make sure there was no green corrosion or split wires. Nothing... I'm at a total loss at this point
