Well im not sure where to start. About 2 weeks ago driving home from school engine temperature gauge went up to the needle practically.( i was only about 10 seconds from home or i would have stopped when i noticed it climbing.) After the engine cooled a bit i put some coolant in and start the car.The car wouldn't start right away (just cranked and ran rough for 3 seconds or so) later that afternoon i went to start the car and it ran perfect. Fastforward to this evening I had the car running at idle in the drive way got distracted for 15ish minutes and come back to the car not running radio and all accessories working. I go to start the car and it turns over runs very rough for 1 second and dies. Has a spark.
The only code i managed to pull out of it is 542.
Edit. Went to check the fuel pressure and all i got was a tip of the screw driver that smelled of gas no spray
Edit 2: Hmm well for some reason it didn't occur to me to check the inertia switch in the trunk which is the problem. Doh. Problem solved
