That one apparatus off of the side of the intake is an EGR meaning that your SHO is a California emission model.

It lives! The tps bolts are 5x25. It drives good for a 27 year old taurus. But the CE light comes on after a few minutes driving then goes away when you turn it off. I'll pull the codes later. And it kinda hints for idle. Not bad, just.....off. and it's not near as powerful as it should be. Something in the clutch is ticking too. If I clutch in it stops. And it squeaks, rattles, and makes all the usual noises. Still needs tons of work. I may start a new thread or 7 next time I work on it. Or I can post it here, whatever works.

It is time correctly. When I was attempting to do the timing belt everything lined up. But no, it wasn't making that noise before I was working on it and it sat 8 months. But it definatly needs a new clutch. I think once I get my next student loan I'm gonna pull the motor and do what needs to be done.
Freddy, ditch the Light BS and switch to Original Coors. That watered down crap isn't worth the can it comes in.Sit back and breathe and have another Coors Light for me....that’s my go to SHO beer for it all and I’m having one or 10 now. Ahem...
Be that as it may, just really relax man, you’ll get this car done. Mine is a work in progress, shit it took me 3+ SHO’s to finally get into the groove of working on these cars and after that it was all downhill afterwards.
Enjoy the rare piece of automotive HISTORY that you have sitting in your driveway and that you have the aptitude to be able to work on it. So many ppl scoff and look at me funny when I tell them how “EASY” it is to work on these cars but they just don’t get it.
