O.K. I'll show my age with this old trick.
1st. Run the car out of gas
2nd. Change your oil
3rd. Get a case of gas line antifreeze
4th. Put the WHOLE case into the tank
5th. Put two gallons of High Test into the tank
6th. Drive straight to test sight, make sure car is at full temp, not cold
7th. Run test, you should pass
8th. Bottle of Marvel Mystery Oil, double recommended amount in the tank
9th. Fill tank full of gas
10th. You should be a happy camper

I've done for a couple of people. Never had a problem. ONLY do it to pass test. Gas line anti freeze is mainly alcohol, NOT GOOD FOR SEALS & OR GASKETS. Worked on, Honda BMW, and Toyota.

Then again, the "It's not what you know, it's who you know" works too. My little bro couldn't get his Land Cruiser to pass in VA. Called me singing the blues about how much it was going to cost. I called an old friend, told him what was going on. He laughed and said for him to bring all the info for the cruiser over, but come in the porsche. He put in all the info for the cruiser, but ran the porsche on the test. Cruiser passed with no problems. Don't know if you could do that one or not, though.

did his car ever pass?

my car?

I am still debating on what to do. I've been away for almost a week so I havent had time. I go to school full time, work, play hockey(40 hrs plus a week) and have a girlfriend that lives over an hour away. My life is crazy and I drive a SHO, which fits in perfect.. haha

I wouldn't go as far as a whole case of that stuff. LOL

I've done similar on older, carbureted Jeeps. I put in 2-3 bottle of Dri-Gas with a couple gallons of gas. Drive it around and make sure you get the vehicle nice and hot, go for your test.

Find a different place where you can get it inspected. A car should be driven fairly hard right (nice and hot) before you go in for emissions testing. A place that doesn't allow for this is giving you the short end of the stick, IMO.

Montgomery County has emissions and I hate it.

Well I called FPS last night to see where my order is and well...Doug said "he dropped the ball". He lost my freakin paperwork so now I have to wait another whole week to drive this beast....awesome. All I need is these cats. I really don't want to put those cats on yet because my engine is burning oil and I have a 3.2 swap that i'm planning on this summer.
