Step one: Punctuation. Please.

Step two: Was the car running before you did the work? You mentioned something about a clip at the DIS, but it's hard to determine what, exactly, you did. Is it possible the connectors are loose?

To answer your question about the fuel pump, here is a quick check of the easy stuff:

When you turn the key to run (not all the way to start), do you hear the fuel pump run for 2-3 seconds? If not, double check your inertia switch in the trunk. It is behind the trunk liner on the driver's side wall. Stick your finger through the hole, find the button, and press it down. Try turning the key and see if the pump runs.

If that's not it, make sure your battery connections are good. Also, trace the small black wire from your negative terminal and make sure it is still connected. This is your computer ground, and a great many things won't work if this isn't connected well.

If you want to check fuel pressure, the schraeder valve is sticking up through the nest of snakes at the top of the motor. There may or may not be a black cap screwed on to it. To actually measure the pressure you'll need a pressure gauge, but for a quick pressure/no pressure check you can press down on the center pin with a small screwdriver and see if any fuel squirts out.

If these steps fail, you'll have to do some more digging. The issue has been covered a bunch, so the search button is your friend.

Make sure the intake ground strap is in place (rear plenum to firewall). If it's not connected, you won't get spark. You need the crossover tube to plenum brackets in place as well. This is the ground path for the DIS -

DIS -> crossover tube -> bracket -> rear plenum -> ground strap -> firewall (body) -> negative battery terminal

Ford won't be much help to you. Their fuel pressure answer sounds like a standard reply to any no-start question.
