Ok, My 94 3.2 was rebuilt about 8,000 miles ago or something like that, but I think that i got screwed on my heads. How much am I looking at to do my own 60k job? What is the average? If i can get a picture of my cams will you all be able to tell me if I need to do it or not?

well i dont think they can really tell you from a picture if it needs to be done unless you take pictures of the shim surfaces to show the wear, but if you dont think it was done at all then you should do it. its not that expensive. i picked up the tools for $70 and you can probably get all the parts (gaskets/shims) for around $200-300. now if youre talking about more than just the valve lash then expect to go up in price, but if all you want to do is the valves then you may even be able to do it for cheaper by renting/borrowing tools. anyone else?
