6 disc changer problems...

My 6 disc changer will not eject the CD that is in, or the cartridge, and the radio says "NO CD" when you push the CD button. Has anyone else had this problem, could it be caused because I am using burned CD's, and how did you fix it? Thanks.

No it is jammed inside. Best to take it out of the car and work it over to get the magazine out. Only two or three nuts holding it in.

My suddenly says all the Cd's are bad....

Mine is moody. Some times it works great, other times it does that same all 6 disk "BAD CD"

I had the same problem and would up replacing the whole changer

Make sure you don't have them in backwards!

Well I haven't tried using it for a while, but yesterday I noticed it works fine during the day when it is warm out. So the CD's are out, new ones in, and it worked fine all last nite. I think I just need to take it apart and have it cleaned.

I am on my second changer and both did the same thing. When cold, they would often decide that the first one or two disks were not there, and that the last one or two disks were not there. When warm, the problem never occured. You could temporarily fix it by ejecting the disks and pushing them back in if it was not seriously cold. Cleaning did not help at all, by the way.
