Nope, Pat has been running a completely stock long block (from the throttle body to the exhaust manifolds) on his white '91 making 445whp. The only time he has had any problems is when his water injection quit working. By personally seeing how well his car has responded to WI, I went the same route.
His '89 SHO (race car) is the one with the forged 3.2 pistons running 17lbs of boost with no charge cooling at the moment. This setup has yeilded 520whp and now he is adding a 2-stage water injection kit and most likely, more boost.
