Has anyone ever tried using the 3.0 timing mark on the timing belt on a 3.2 MTX? This would theoretically retard the cam timing no?

That's the mark you are supposed to use on an 3.2 MTX swap, if you are using the 3.0 timing belt setup.

the crank sprocket has 23 teeth. 360/23 = 15.6.
retarding the cam timing by 15.6* is an amazingly bad idea.
