HOoooooo Leeeee Crap...yeah...these images didn't show up on tapatalk. That's awesome. THANK YOU!!! I started on the heads yesterday and got some material hogged out on the exhaust side....the intake side looks great. I'm thinking I'll just throw some compound and polish in there.
Need to take some more measurements on the exhaust side but I'll probably just polish what I have and move onto the turbo side of the manifold.

Got most of the top end cleaned up and when things are polished I'll throw it back together and have CSS give em a check up.

Are there other bolts to use on the crank mains and mains support or are people using the bolts from ford?

Man, ordering parts for this thing is proving to be quite the pain in the ass.
It's there a "list" or recommendation of torque to yield bolts that must be replaced during a repair/build?
I'm not having great luck with tasca...

This isn’t quite an answer but so far as I know mine is all ARP hardware.

Yeah check out Headgames if you're interested. I'm sure there are other reputable shops that can some headwork. I personally stuck with their Pocket Port R which intentionally leaves the runners alone but works on the bowl to try and get more timing out of it.

I don't know how much opening up the ports will benefit without having better cams available to take advantage of that extra flow.

I will, however be portmatching..there is value there for sure.

Damnit, I'm goin senile...just realized I already posted that YT vid in this very same post a few pages back...ugh...gettin old sucks, LOL
I feel you all day on that, LOL. However, an extra post never hurts just in case someone is doing a search or misses it the first time :) I agree, and I'm quite sure that I will see nearly no benefits in doing any type of port work but knowing that I may have better flow, if anything could give me some better efficiency in regards to fuel mileage or response time. I'll never notice it compared to the other work that I'm doing but at least I'll know that I made it the best I could or at least I think LOL. As long as I keep telling myself that sooner or later I'll believe it.

I think you should port the heads if you can. It’ll pick up flow everywhere even in factory lift ranges. A high lift cam would be a benefit but regarless it’s going to make more power.

As of right now the exhaust side is about 1 to 2 mm bigger around the entire perimeter.
I'll do some more playing this weekend.
Never hurts to open them up!!

Hey All!!
Been a minute. Man oh man has life gotten in the way but I'm still plugging along. Exhaust side of the heads are ported and rebuilt, ready to send off for leak-down test.

Still waiting on my FU*%ING crank from ford so I can move forward on the motor. Pulled the fuel tank. Wow, mouse heaven. Got that all cleaned up and got the new DW300C installed. Should have that back in the car this weekend after I clean around it.

Got the solid mounts ready to go but at this point hopefully I'll be able to install them this year :-\

I think this weekend I'm going to focus on the spare tire well surface rust and get that prepped for paint. Maybe drop the rear sub, get some new paint in there, and get the H&R's installed.

Slowly but surely. She'll be new when I'm done.

Hey fam....well now I have two cars to build :-\
Threw a rod on my wife 04 Kenne Bell GT....hopefully it doesn't deter my SHO built too much. She said she wanted to turn the wrenches on it and put a short block in so, that's what we'll do!!

Got most of my rear sub cleaned up, painted, and oiled. New shocks came in so I got those in after the pic.

Sub mounts and exhaust hooks blasted, primed, and painted.

Man, I found throwing my bolts into my ammo case tumbler makes them come out rust and debris free so I'm doing a little less reloading and a little more bolt cleaning, LOL.

Fun shot of my life in the mouse $hit trunk getting the shocks tightened up!

Decided to go with the XDI injectors just in case the future needs them.
Not sure what to do about turbos now...looks like my ATP's probably aren't a thing now :-(
I'm definitely reaching out to you folks for advice on this one!
Just waiting on the on one more set of bearings before I can start on the motor!
This weekend will be painting up the EcoPowerParts piping and intake box. Going to go with the pearl white I have left over from doing the spare tire well. Probably will turn black under the car but, oh well!

At this point I would go with GH turbos. Like he said ^^^. For what it’s worth....when I was finally ready to buy some upgraded turbos I was thinking ATP....but then it seemed like “all of a sudden” I was hearing ppl talk about their wastegates being finicky. And that LMS reportedly ordered them with different wastegates.....not like they would tell anyone what they ordered different.....and I was just hearing about GearHead Gen3 turbos.....I was oblivious to Gen1 and 2......so I went with GH.

Hey all!
Well, my checkbook is ready to get emptied again and finish up my build. Wanted to check back in and let you all know I'm going to try and get more active again. I do not feel like I contribute much based on my lack of knowledge with the car but if I can collect good posts here I hope to help that way at least.

Last things to do are get the turbos done and then all the mundane things like timing components, gaskets, and whatever comes along as I reassemble. I was hoping I'd be late enough to the party for some trans upgrades but not looking good thus far.
