its super ez just slide a card in the top you hear the clips sorta pop just be sorta gentle and it flops right out. the clips where in the part i think not the fender

A How to -



Three points across the top...push credit card down to unsnap and it from the top then it just lifts out.



See the clips? Just push down with the card on these points while applying outward pressure to the emblem.



Then just mount your new one in bottom first -

OK guys, the moment of truth for those wondering. YES, the 2013 vents fit the 2010+ SHOs with no issues. I ordered mine last week, they came in today. You want to talk about pulling teeth to get these things. And then getting the part numbers and pricing was even harder.

I just told the parts counter lady to get them no matter the cost and send them to my shop. She had to say that an insurance claim was being filed and to expedite the info. I may end up having them painted to match the car like my old ones were but I do kinda like the chrome on these. Here are the pics, let me know what you guys think.

EBay is your friend here. Tasca may be one of the sellers, they are a Ford dealer. Local dealer would be more expensive. Or junkyards (unlikely due to low volume) if you want to browse.

They havnt really changed anything really just updated console some different heads and tails the cluster is a nice update aswell. the only one i car about is the updated brakes. my 2010s are very blah lol need to get pp pads hopefully that helps a little

Yeah, I did the brakes on my 12. The stockers just don't cut it. I don't care for the new cluster or shifter at all.

If you're talking about the front grille....definitely won't fit....the angle along the lights is the opposite direction...

I'm so glad this was mentioned before I moved forward and purchased a '13 SHO front grill for my '12.

What about 2012 Police Interceptor grill? Would that fit a same year SHO?

The 2013 grill will not fit the 2012, but the 2010-2012 Interceptor grill will fit fine, if you can find one!

Just so he doesn't get thrown off there was no 2010-2012 Taurus PI. The first year Taurus PI was 2013. So you will not find ANY PI grill to fit your 2012.

You could actually replace your front bumper cover and headlights to turn it into a 2013 front though if your really a die hard.
