Ok I know I asked this before but it was also a really long time ago and a lot of new people have joined since then. I am looking to remove my passenger air bag because I feel they do more damage in a wreck and that place is perfect for the TV :D My question is if I do this and then reconnect the battery will it possibly deploy the driver bag? Or might I start getting an air bag code? I am more worried about deployment since I could always remove the bulb. Was wondering if anyone who has put on an after market steering wheel has run into any of these problems. Thanks again.

It will not deploy the driver side. It will light the air bag light. You should be able to jump the air bag connector with a 2 ohm resistor to simulate an air bag.
