Hello my 2010 SHO with 85,000 miles is has white smoke coming from both exhaust pipes. This happened a few times in the past but it would clear up in a day,IMG 20210830 1144552 rewind and the dealer could not find a problem or codes. Looking for a good repair shop in the Ann Arbor, Michigan area. Thanks

Mine has also just recently started doing this about 2-3 weeks ago. It’s not everyday but every so often if I’m just parked at an idle smoke starts to billow out especially if I give it some revs. It’s white smoke but smells burnt… idk what’s going on my engine has also started to make an ticking noice, which I believe it’s the lifters but I could be wrong! I hope all is well tho!

Yelp white smoke that smells like burning oil, still waiting to get it into a dealership everyone around here is backed up a couple of weeks. Called a couple of local repair shops but they didn't want to work on turbos.

Does this only happen after the car has been sitting outdoors, or only after sitting in a non-climate controlled garage, or only after sitting overnight, etc? Does the car seem to be using any oil or coolant (maybe it's not been happening long enough to determine that yet)? From the picture, it doesn't seem to have enough of a blue tint to likely be oil, although you mention it has a burning oil smell. I'd still consider that maybe it's just condensation, unless you're confident it's not due to details not shared here.

Rod it's not condensation because it started smoking after about a 30 minute drive in 90+ degree weather. The volume of smoke is greater than what I recorded if I let the car continue to run. The smoke doesn't have a sweet smell like coolant.

Mine smoked like the thread starters photo in 90degree+ heat a couple of weeks ago. No code, only on start up, and a lot of smoke. I got out, stood in the middle of the smoke, and took a couple of good whiffs. Definitely fuel. Wrote it off to a bypassed evaporator tank valve and remembered I had to buy fuel at a brand X station while out in the sticks. Ran the tank down and went to my tried and true Shell station for a tank of 93. Hasn't happened since, but it's Ohio in September now and cooler outside. Since they have both winter and summer fuels and winter fuel is more volatile I wrote it off to cheap gas.
