has anyone ever tried this? by 2 tone i mean painting the long runners 1 color and the short runners another. example: lets say you have a red/black color combo. say the tanks are painted red, you would paint the long runners black and the short runners red or vice versa. i think it would really open your eyes to really see how the intake really works and not just look like a bunch of tubes crossing back and forth. anyways what do you guys think?

Paint the secondaries black for some contrast. Otherwise, looks pretty damn good!

Personally, I think it would look better with paint one set of runners black and the other red (2 - pieces).

eh i could have cleaned that up with paint thinner but im to lazy. like i said this was a quick 1 coat paint job just to get an idea. the masking tape i use was 2in wide lol not ideal but all i had at the time. plus when its on the car you dont really see it unless you look closely. if i decide this is how i want my intake when the car is done i will get it professionally powder coated. oh and are the intake runners universal? can you get them backwards? i cant seem to get the little nubs on the cylinders heads to sit right on the runners.

Yes, they are identical. Did you tighten the secondary clamps? If so, loosen them until you get the intake seated properly.
