1998 sho issues

I just recently aquired a 1998 sho and it needs a few things but it seems that this car is a unicorn and parts are impossible to find. I need front motor mounts and it also needs a tune up but can not find replacement intake gaskets and while its being tuned up it needs a set of valve cover gaskets which no one can locate. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome, Ray! Have you been to the v8sho.com website? That is an encyclopedia of info for the Gen III SHO.

Sometimes you can find parts on EBay, or at chain stores like OReilly's, AutoZone, Advance Auto, Pep Boys, etc.

Just went through that struggle. Paint the intake gaskets with hi temp engine paint. Get a can of permatex copper gasket spray and use it right before u install. I layered it on for a day or two, thought it might help. I resused the valve cover gaskets and applied a supper thin layer of RTV with a tooth pick in addition to the copper spray.

Full disclosure I've only put about 15 miles on it so far, but no leaks.
