I'm going to check the cruise control tomorrow. ABS does not engage at all I have already tried to get it to engage. I already checked the circuit to the ABS indicator and that checked out fine.

There is also a dedicated ground wire that runs from the pump body to the unibody frame. It's a short 6" wire or so and it may be broken.
No they don't. They just want to reject you to clean out your wallet. Working brakes and parking brake are the only things that are required to pass. ABS is not part of the inspection. The car stops perfectly but I have no ABS. I normally wouldn't care but in Mass if your car is equiped with ABS and it doesn't work they give you a rejection sticker. I suppose I'll have to pay yet again and have it scanned.
