So I need to replace my speakers. I have the stock setup and want to keep the stock cassette player/amps.
So I did some searching and found some information but have a few questions.
Found this information
* (2) 6.5" dual driver speaker (mid-woofer tweeter) mounted in each front door,
* (2) 5"x7" single cone drivers mounted in the rear deck
* (2) 6"x8" 'sub-woofer' driver mounted under each 5x7.
1. What is the Ohm resistance of the door speakers, the rear deck speakers, and subwoofers?
2. Where did you find speaker connectors that fit the stock plugs? And are all 6 connectors the same? (I'm having difficulty finding the correct plugs unless JBL and NON JBL adapters are all the same for this year)
3. When replacing the 6X8" "subs" I'm thinking of using the TANG BAND W69-1042J 6x9" CAR AUDIO SUBWOOFER. Has anyone used these in this application? Has anyone done any 6X9 sub mounting instead of 6X8? If so, did they mount directly up or did you need a 6X8 to 6X9 spacer/adaptor?
