12v switched

wondering, without much digging on my own yet, if there is a 12v switched wire going to the stock sony amp located on the left side of the trunk? I added a lc2i that senses the audio sound, but makes noise after opening the door. I need to run a dedicated 12v switched unit to get rid of this noise. If you could tell me which one it is, I would be eternally grateful. If not, I will be hiding in the trunk for hours with a multimeter. Thanks guys!

Are you getting a "thump" type noise from the subwoofer when the system shuts down? If so, I had this as well with mine. Once I set the amp gain properly and adjusted the lc2i, the thump noise went away.

I guess I'll play with that... What's the best way to adjust them? Do I start with the amp down, adjust the lci then the amp?
