Want a 2010-2012 mobsteel/Tommy design grill. Preferably black.

If you have one you want to sell, reply or pm me and we can figure something out.

Go here and make one. This the same material of the mobsteel grills or at least close enough. This will be my winter project too.

You have to cut and bend the mesh that customcargrills sends you. Bend it around the remaining resest portion and it won't be much. Use zip ties to hold it in place, but don't wrench them down insanely hard even if you have some material to protect the contact points. Then apply "goop" where you bent the mesh down. After a couple hours it will have cured enough to reassemble as long as you are slightly careful. It really needs 24hrs to fully hold. I drove it about 14hrs later with no problems.
The grill is a pain to get off as you have to remove the bumper and wrestle with the tabs on the inside. Reassemble was much easier. Everything snapped back into place pretty easily.
I don't have a magic formula for tracing the cut lines on the grill. Just find a line and be consistent with how it naturally curves, double check them take your time cutting.

Thanks for the info. This is definitely on my to do list. But I think I'll wait until August when my warranty is up before I go chopping up factory parts. Maybe I'll see about getting a grille from a junkyard, and have it ready to install once the warranty is up.
