I wasn't planning to buy one, but I'll join in to get the GB 1 closer. Sorry I couldn't push it over the edge!

#13 is mine, MTX catted.

How many more MTX units do you need for this to go through? I am interested, but money is being spent elsewhere (IE a house).

If it really is two more for it to go through, then I can probably muster up the cash, as could another member here to get this going. I really want a Y pipe for mine, and if this is my last shot at getting one, then I'll do it.

I just don't want to join in, only for it not to go through because we actually needed 10 more people, and it still doesn't work out.

The SHO Source webpage said 12 when I bought mine today, so it should be 13 total purchased of 15. 2 more needed. Jump in!

Just checked, it says 13 of 15 now.

Put me down for a MTX catted y pipe. Completed payment through my SHO Source user, it should soon read 14 of 15 orders. Trying to help keep the SHO aftermarket alive while not going broke. I would've ordered earlier, however as we know you can't drive a SHO without working on it, spent the earlier y pipe moneys on CPS/CPK/Water pump/etc.

We got it thanks.

We understand stuff happens. I don't know if the ATX will get made due to alack of orders. 2 orders is not enough.

We understand that there is life beyond the SHO. Maybe this isn't the time to have the group buy, maybe it is. The thing is that if people are having a hard time they need to let us know as we have over 30 people (ATX and MTX) who want the y-pipes but only half have paid. If they cant then they should say it.

If you say you will do something then follow though.

We got your order thanks!

Alrighty then, count me in for number 15. Payment will be sent tomorrow after I vist the bank.

w00t! :omgsho:

We will be looking for it!

We are up to 14 orders! We can make it!

Come on ATX guys! Step up so we can get a y-pipe made for you guys!

Mission accomplished. I didn't want to see this die. I think #13 was lucky this time ;-)

Thanks Grantorinslo and Team Dave for wrapping this up!

Are you getting the Y-Pipe you signed up for?

(I sent this a pm back to NWGRN94MTX, but felt that as several of you have a lot riding on this i owe you an explanation and an appology.)

due to financial hardship at this time and several other major repairs to my vehicle that need to be made before exhaust gas even flows through the stock y pipe attached now, i regret to inform you that i will not be able to participate in the group buy at this time.

as you know, the country is going through a difficult time financially, and as such the industry that I work in in the state that i live in, due to poor planning and treatment of the customer by the contractors me and my union usually work for, an almost doubling of the amount of apprentices in the program now competing with me for a job, the work is scarce this winter and i had been laid off due to illness, school and now lack of work since august. when i originally signed up for this y pipe things were going good with the job I was at, and the word from higher up was that i'd be employed through march. i was then promptly laid off at the end of august with the rest of the crew and i haven't worked a day since.

i've gotten pretty wordy but i want you to know i have tried to make this work, and scrounge up the extra cash. at one point i sold some guns to get the 300 bucks, on my way to the bank the guy calls me back and says he needs to return em because he needs the money more than the guns and sadly i'd be losing the same amount of money i'd be getting from a **** shop if i hawked what i'm willing to part with to come up with the money (essentially buying two y pipes).

i hope you understand and appreciate the difficulty i'm having at this time, as I am sure you do. hopefully in the future, i'll be able to buy one or participate in another group buy with you guys. also in the future i will not put my name down for any group buy product without having cash in hand. i should have known better.

considering the day that today is, I want you all to know how thankful I am that someone else besides me and the 15 or so other guys that said they were interested and then have not paid was able to knucke up and get it going for you all, i understand what its like to have to rely on other people and have them drop the ball like i'm doing and i really cant appologize for it. i shouldn't have said anything unless i was ready to pay up right away. that would have been the responsible thing to do.

but thankfully the last few that needed to be paid for got paid for and SHO SOURCE didn't have to **** the GB. :woo-hoo::thankyou:

with appologies and regards,

Donovan D.

p.s. have a happy holiday.

Donovan,

I understand completely where you're coming from. Happens to the best of us... me included. Probably a blessing in disguise for you, as you could probably use the money elsewhere and it'd be much more beneficial. Life comes first, SHO's come second (or third depending on if you have a significant other, hah). Either way, me and Pat (Grantorinslo) found a way to muster up the cash for the GB, so all is well on that part. This is most definitely not the last time you'll see these for sale.

Good luck with everything.. and if worse comes to worse and you need to sell the SHO, contact me first! Always wanted a green on black 91 Plus. :omgsho:

it'll take a LOT to make me get rid of her.

i only paid 500 so even with all the work and parts needed... she's still worth more than blue book to me.

she's a 1991 plus thats fully loaded with the black interior with only the dash having a crack, she's also got a 1993 or newer wing (the one with an LED) i lost the old one when half of it snapped off at 140mph plus one day.

she's been the best $500 i've ever spent and all things considered pretty forgiving to me for how people told me how finicky SHOs can be.
