I am seriously interested, in the headers and the ATX catted y-pipe, BUT, I have other things my money needs to take care of.

Will there be another chance later for me to get headers and the ATX catted y-pipe? Or is this it? Once these are made, that's it, no more?? I would love to add 25hp to my car, that would be sweet!

We will have a few y-pipes in stock so hopefully we will have those at the time.

We wont do the ATX headers group buy unless theres enough orders and right now there isn't even one so until we get some more we wont be making them.

Thank you. The headers in general, why do they cost $500? I am ignorant, I have no idea what it takes to make them. So are the HP gains seen more from the y-pipe or the headers?

Thats a fantastic deal for such a rare car that not a lot of people wanna make parts for.

In hindsight, my GTP headers were 700... My Cobalt (4 cyl) was $400.

Does this mean go for catted, catless, or won't matter?

This will depend on the bends. Modern high-flow converters rob little to no horsepower. The trouble is that you can usually get better bends when you don't have to fit a converter onto the pipe. The Catless *should* yeild more horsepower with *possibly* a minor drop in power/tq on the low end. But our cars REALLY like the revs so having the breathing capability up in the RPMs where we make the power anyway isn't such a bad thing.

I was wondering the same thing. Maybe those of us who got in early are getting a discount! Or maybe SHipping's included now! But in all likelihood they had to raise the price for some legitimate reason

They take a lot more to make. We have to make flanges. The headers require each pipe to be bent as well as a lot more welding. It takes a lot more work compared to the y-pipe. I thought the pricing was quite decent for small run of headers.

Does this mean go for catted, catless, or won't matter?

I prefer catted due to noise, smell and low end power.

does anyone know of any body selling shorty headers for the turbo hot pipes

No, the turbo pipes are meant to run on stock headers anyways.

Basically I forgot to include the flanges, clamps and gaskets into the price. So we needed to make up for it a little bit. We will get a y-pipe gasket in the kit at least.

So did you want a y-pipe? We need people who are ready to buy the y-pipe because if we go into production we cant have half the people backing out.

I had actually never priced headers before for any car, so I really had no idea that was why they were $500. From the sounds of it, sounds like a good deal, but for me, I think it needs to wait for now.

Thanks
