SEARCH!!!

Autozone, O'rieleys, Advanced, Rockauto..... Should be about $60 for a set.

RCM has a kit with the Oil pan gasket that you'll need.

Clevite P/N: CB-1435P

Just make sure you start soaking the Y-pipe exhahust studs a few days in advanced with PB blaster, and give them a few raps with a hammer every time.

I think Bizzy (administer on this site) still adds to the SHOPP site. She'd be glad to take donations. She keeps this forum running, along with all of the other Adm's!

Most here will recommend that you get Clevite bearings.

They are available at NAPA, the PartsAmerica website (online ordering for Advance Auto, CSK, Murrays Discount, Schucks), and through RCM.

Clevite bearings are not available at AutoZone, O'Reilly's, or Rock Auto. Locally, my Advance Auto said they could not order them.

They are available at NAPA, but they are a special order item and you have to pay shipping plus wait. I just ordered the kit from RCM Automotive instead, and it worked out fine.

I suggest buying the bearings from RCM. It comes with everything that you need for $60. The rest of the back breaking work is on you!:thumb:

I got my Clevite Bearings from Autozone, I think Clevite is the only company that still makes them. And they don't charge for shipping, usually pretty quick too. Unless they 'misplace' yours like they did mine, IN THE STORE!!

yeah, I found the rcm website yesterday. But looking at some feedback on here about them got me weary on purchasing with them. Plus I don;t want to have to wait, I need all the stuff so I can have the car running by like next week.

They are K1435P on Autozone, but 0 available when you try to checkout. I don't think any parts warehouse stocks them anymore ; you have to find somebody like NAPA who can order them direct from Clevite, or a SHO parts place like RCM.

I ordered a set from them last night, and according to the tracking number, they are gonna be here tomorrow

i guess they must know about us here then.. they keep all sho parts in stock for the most part for us all the time (since we fix a lot i guess). We have an account so maybe that's why, but it is easy for me to get parts right away from them (they even deliver them at lunch time!!!)

Do us all a favor, try and support the venders who support this site. I always recommend SHOnut to people. They are alittle more expensive but the money is going back into the community. There are several other venders on here that sell the bearings as well.

I'd like to know how RCM is getting them at the price he is. I set up a business account with my local NAPA, and couldn't even come close to buying them for RCM's price . . . .
