Yup. It's the outlet from the bypass valve that leads back into the blower inlet. The MAF is in the fender with a K&N filter behind the bumper. The bypass valve opens with vacuum and with high boost pressure. Being that this is a stock engine, I've set it to about 9psi as a cap. Should still put 325 to the tires and get 25mpg.

for the charge pipe across the engine bay ....assuming the charge pipe is 2.5"

-get a piece of 3" pipe
-get a pair of 2.5" to 3" silicone couplers
-get some spare hose (radiator or silicone coupler.. anything close to pipe size)
- drill 2 small holes in the 3" pipe, one top left, one bottom right (as installed on car
- cut 2 narrow sections of radiator hose, epxy to inside ends of 3", but dont block the holes .... these are just to gap the 3" away from the 2.5"
- assemble 3" pipe and couplers over 2.5" pipe, leaving drilled holes exposed
- slowly fill the space between the 2 pipes with pure argon
-when full, slide couplers towards each other to cover drilled holes, install clamps
and now your charge pipe wont suck up ANY heat in the straight section, because argon is a GREAT insulator ... its what they use in double pane windows

Nice idea, but you've go to pull a vaccum on the tube before you fill it with argon, as the argon is lighter than air, it won't do much filling, just disappearing.

you dont have to pull a vacuum, just have to fill it from the top hole, using a hose that fits snug (hence having one top hole and one bottom hole, on opposite ends)

fill it slow and the argon will displace the air w/o mixing with it

Quick question ...

I have a WG with a 10.29(.7Bar) Spring and a BOV with a 9PSI Spring. I will be getting a Apexi AVCR boost controller.

Q: If i need to surpass the boost limit of the springs will the boost controller be able to control that regardless of spring pressure?

THe EBC is intended for the WG, and yes, most EBC's can effectively double the spring pressure (to 21psi in your case). The BOV is another matter. My experience with TiAl is that their springs are based on the amount of vacuum your engine pulls at idle. You boost controller will not have any effect over the BOV. Only the pressure inside the intake manifold (it opens as soon as the manifold sees vacuum). One would assume that with positive pressure being exerted into the spring chamber during boost, that a 9psi spring will hold more than 9psi of actual boost.

I took this last week at night....

Image715.jpg

I'm going to slightly cut the reinforcement bar, i had to remove the fog lamps because of them being in the way of the tubing. and i think im gonna go to the junk yard to get another bumper add the flares to it and make a bigger opening on the front for better air flow.

Ill post more pictures on the subject later.

as soon as you cut into that plastic bumper it will become worthless in a collision. ****, its ALREADY mostly worthless in a collision

i broke somedude's bumper the day i stood on it to tie the hood up out of the way

if you realy want a bumper on the car, have one bent out of 1 1/2 steel tubing, and tuck it up against the cover

With that piping setup where in the heck do you plan on putting the Turbo? Looks like you want to put it in the battery location. If so where is the down pipe going to go?

Kool Thats what I read at first but then your pipe layout in the above picture threw me way off. BTW, Why are you going with an intercooler like that? That makes for way too much piping.
