First shiney go-fast part installed thanks to a good friend. Steeda TB spacer, which motivated me to spend the next hour digging through my own junk yard to find a 3.5" elbow to mod into an intake pipe, found a large k&n cone filter in my stock from a coyote mustang. Only had 3" pipe so I shelved the idea for now

Routine maintenance with a side of ADD. Changed the oil, while it drained I fixed the bumper sag thats been bugging me.

Once topside I decided to test my boost gauge, drilled a hole in the elbow of the noisemaker and sealed it with some rtv, at this point I almost forgot to finish the oil change, filled it with oil and tested the gauge, it worked (a whopping 4lbs with my foot on the brake, then I started wiring it....I spent over an hour looking for passage from engine bay to cabin. I grit my teeth and broke out the drill and made my own.

Then I drilled the dash to fish my wires to the gauge pod. So now with the interior torn apart and wires everywhere my wife asks why the oil change is on hour 4 and when will I be done-"soon". Soon turns into another hour and now I have everything pre-wired and ready but nothing to show for the day. Relay is wired with power leads ready, grounds and trigger has been found, but I'm busy for the next 3 days so the rest has to wait.

I TRIED to upgrade to my EVO - XDI-EVO = 250bar / 3500psi, however the vendor sent me longer and same size screws - unfortunately the longer torx screws were the wrong thread, nearly cross threaded... Middle is OEM, left is a newer wrong thread they put in the box. The one I need is on the right, the correct thread too short. Waste of 45 minutes.

I feel your pain @kryptto I spent an hour troubleshooting my boost gauge that worked perfectly on the test set up but once everything was routed and set up it stopped working. Waste of an hour. But after frying my dash cam and ultimately having 1 functional gauge I finally finished my acc power accessories and got the gauge pod in.

I was watching a YT video - some guy installing a bunch of Autometer gauges for his mitsubishi turbo something - he was running a how too vid, showed how pretty they were hooked them up to power, ran all the wiring etc, he fired them up after mounting them, 2 out of 3 were defective. I felt like smashing my head against a a rock.

Poor man's brake job. Pulled the pads and sanded them, 80 to 400 grit. The squealing is getting worse and they still have half life left and they are less than a year old. But I drenched everything in brake cleaner after I sanded the pads and wiped down the rotors the best I could with a clean rag. just need to make it a couple more months.
