Paint color and good source of paint online

I have a spare decklid in my garage that will be binned if I don't get it on my car soon. I want to repaint it from white to Light Titanium to match my '90. The paint code on the door shows FC4, but when I search I just come up with code YF when associated with 90 era Fords. I guess I could just buy a pen and see if it matches, but I'd rather get a quart or so at once so I can spray it.

Any suggestions on what the proper paint code is and a solid vendor to buy from?

Direct from the source, the Ford parts catalog. Paint code is YF. I have never seen a Ford paint code be more than 2 digits. Something is up with your decal or you are looking at the wrong thing.

Go to an O'Reillys that has a paint department and have them mix it for you. You can get it in an aerosol can or by the quart. If your local O'Reillys doesn't have a paint department, have them get a transfer from one that does.

I have had the best luck the automotivetouchup.com - you can get it in a rattle can or a bottle/can of different sizes depending on your needs and the color match is great and the quality seems very good.

I looked and I can't tell if there is an O'Reilly's in-state that does color but I'll call them. I'll check out automotivetouchup as well.

I am glad you are happy with the one for your 90 I did...eventually I want to have a complete data base of all the decals for the whole car....I need some more images to do that. I need to get a hold of the other door tags...there is on on each of the back doors I believe for the child lock operations that I need and also the one on the pass rear fender well inside door jam that has the vehicle weight and tire size info on it....one step at a time though.
