Stop by the shop today for an update and he had a problem putting in the catted downpipes. Has anybody else had this issue installing the downpipes. He said that long pipe was hanging down too far from lining up to The exhaust. He said It needs to be bent in the spot where I marked yellow in the photo. Any ideas why he's having problems?View attachment 16859

My ppe pipes fit perfect.

I installed it the other way, though. Hooked up the turbo end first, left everything loose, then hooked up the exhaust end, then cranked everything down tight.

Oil change with a Motorcraft filter instead of Wix XP, trans fluid exchange, Added some o2 defoulers on the SW downpipes, it's getting too cold to not have auto start. Checked spark plugs, look really good and gaps were good. Had a small methanol leak coming from where the intake tube meets the throttle body, original clamp was worn out and sliding around. Put a constant tension worm gear clamp on it, holds super solid. Hopefully that fixed it. Gapped a Mustang 1v1 IRL ez pz while driving around making sure everything was working correctly :p

I had the privilege of getting a set of @Ecoboost_xsport drain plugs. The shipping time was crazy fast from California-Michigan and John was extremely quick to reply and very helpful. I can’t wait to drill, tap and install the PTU and RDU.
I did get to do the trans today and it was a plug and play affair. I was able to get 5 quarts of LV for $32 from my local dealership, that’s cheaper than an oil change!
I also took advantage of the weather and washed it again.

Building it. I put a deposit down with Max Performance Automotive. Looks like Matt will be working on mine too @bpd1151
Very cool development!

He's told me that you and him have been on the phone quite a bit as of late.

I'm excited for you. He's super smart, super talented, and I'm truly excited for you.

Thanks Mike! Definitely not a build to the caliber of yours, but I know I’m in good hands.

Ended up with Miro type 398s in 19x9.5, always liked the wheels just never had a set of them before.
Nice choice. Matte black? Chrome?

If I can't find a decent set of 5 spokes, I might go with those in matte black.
