I’ve been noticing that’s a thing. H&R’s on non PP cars seem to net you more drop than PP. @SM105K cut his H&R’s on his PP equipped to get a little extra. While my rear tires are already tucked under pretty deep.

Well its a toss up. I think ford sprinkled the PP parts into random non PP cars...maybe thats all they had before the next MY? I had the PP springs on my nonPP and the ptu had a drain plug but no cooling lines. I'm sure it didn't make any difference but it was interesting.

My non PP was also equipped with PP springs but not shocks. PP brakes, and trans cooler.

3 ford techs/mechanics told me PP brake difference in my 2015 was nothing but different pads.

By ‘15 your correct. The 10-12 non PP didn’t have vented rear rotors till 2013. ‘13 up PP had the vented pistons up front as well as PP pads.

Ford techs and people in service, told me that the oil in my PTU/RDU are lifetime, so I generally take what they say with a grain of salt.

They are lifetime for a stock sho used as intended for 150k miles.

MOST LIKELY unless granny was driving it for every one of 100k miles, you're gonna WANNA (REAAAAALLLLY SHOULD) Change out that PTU ATLEAST every 50k miles. The vast majority of long time owners seem to recommend the 25k mile mark for replacement. Trust me its alot easier and cheaper to swap a quart of gear **** every TWO YEARS to save yourself replacing the PTU. But its always your choice with your vehicle

So the PPs come with drilled and slotted? Or do you mean some wheel well venting?

PP also have high temp silicone piston seals as well. They're orange in color.

The hat of the brake rotor itself has air gaps to dissipate heat faster.

Thats what I figured, I was like, I dont think any manufacturers use drilled rotors because of the chance of cracking

The BMW M2 competition is $10k more than the sticker price of my SHO. And a used C63 from 2012 is about $30k with 50,000 miles. Again, right around $10k more than I paid for my SHO used.
