That was how life for me and the SHO started. Came from a series of Mustangs and after having kids and hating car seats I was like "let's just get a nice sporty sedan, oh look a SHO, I can just drive this, it's fun and not mod it." Then decided to take it to the track and ran a 13.5 and Luis said "let's throw a tune on it and see what she does" and that's all she wrote...

Same here, my buddy has a BCB tune on his F150 and he was waving how much it woke the truck up...

Ive wanted an RS since they came out but then ill get too tempted to mod it lol

They are amazing cars them RS's. However, I cant justify spending 30k on a Focus. 13K for my ST was right where I wanted to spend, and that little car is a riot. I was going to leave it stock too.....opps. The scope creep on the ST has been kept in check. All it needs is coil overs and I will be happy. It gets great mileage averaging 31 mpg (I baby it) on 87 octane, and it flat out rails on E85. It is nice I don't have switch out tunes as well.

I tried the GH Auto Octane tune back in the beginning, then have been Luis' test mule since he decided to start tuning them. I tried to get a Brad tune back in the day but couldn't carry on a conversation with him that didn't take 3 days to respond to an email so I gave up. His tunes seem to be pretty comparable to ours, just never have had the chance to try one.

I switched back to my livernois v11 and the issues i had last year with a broke engine are still there. So its the tune. Still throws out of gear randomly. I switched back to stock as im awaiting an update tune from ajp. And im not letting livernois....let me hurt the engine lol
Not bashing livernois, just stating that the engine issues i had that they had “no update” for are still causing issues on my new engine with good compression. I loved the tune when i first got it

I think LMS stopped caring about the SHO platform after what happened with Mike, possibly even before.

For sure. XDI is releasing their new Ecoboost Injectors this week at PRI, so we should be able to see what they are capable of, though I don't think we'll need them at all until turbo upgrades.

Stock injectors with GH turbo upgrades here running E35 holding desired fuel pressure of 2800+ psi all year round thus far.... .82 lambda desired tapering down to .80 at the higher RPMs.

According to Matt at Gearhead I am pushing the most he feels comfortable with on a stock block... 500awhp at this point since he gave it a bit more kick since last dyno...

Would be nice have a full E85 with that kind of power on stock internals which would then make sense to upgrade the injectors...

Uwe said he was gonna hook me up with a discounted set when they became available.. we will see...

Inquired with him. Xdi makes great products was going to be a beta tester for him but couldn't justify the price over stock injectors. It's a decent jump even more so than the DW injectors. For experimenting he wanted a good chunk. Not complaining because he makes super quality pieces and has every right to charge what he does. He did say however for full potential need his xdi60

is this still going to the bottleneck or did the new lpfp fix the fuel volume problem to the hpfp.?
Upgraded lpfp should fix this issue with the xdi35, but don't quote me on this directly because it's purely speculation. With the xdi60 and the xdi injectors I believe the new upgraded lpfp would be the weakest of the 3 once again, but at that point you got plenty of other issues surfacing lol like your drive train ******** itself from too much power
